iTunes Connect users have raised complaints regarding a suspicious email that they are receiving from Apple. According to the report, the erroneous message urged them to update their banking details. However, the mail contains no attachment or content.

Apple is reportedly sending an erroneous iTunes Connect email to both users and non-users of the service.
According to a report by Apple Insider, many people have become confused as to why they are getting emails from Apple regarding their iTunes Connect billing even though they are not using the service.
Several users said that Apple was reaching out to them because their iTunes connect banking details were already deemed invalid. To continue future payments, there's a need to address this issue by correcting the information.
Furthermore, some people noticed that the Apple Music Team signed the email, which means that the emails were only sent to artists who are tied up with Apple Music.
For those unfamiliar with iTunes Connect, it's a special Apple service that producers use to distribute their content in the form of songs, podcasts, and more. This has confused a lot of people since non-artists also received the special email.

As spotted by Macrumors on Twitter, many people have been wondering why Apple will send an email and ask them about their banking information.
As per iOS developer Felix Schwarz, Apple has instantly turned him into a musician because of the error in the iTunes Connect email. When he went to the headers sent by Apple's servers, he quickly knew that it was only a technical glitch on the part of the Cupertino giant.

Another Twitter user asked everyone if they were receiving messages from iTunes Connect regarding the payments. He added that this was the second time that he had received an email in three days. Even those who do not use Apple iTunes Connect surprisingly got an email from the company.
"@AppleSupport I just received an email from "Apple iTunes Connect" telling me that my banking information in iTunes Connect is wrong. I don't even know what iTunes Connect is, much less have an account there. If this is legit, why am I getting this?" the user posted.
For those who haven't heard about iTunes Connect nor used it even once, you can ignore the email right away.
In other news, Apple finally halted signing the iPadOS 15.5 and iOS 15.5 following the arrival of the 15.6 updates. This means that downgrading your mobile devices to the older version will not happen anymore.
