Valve is releasing the SteamOS 3.3 operating system. The update is finally available to the public since it was previously only available in beta for a few users.

SteamOS 3.3 is Finally Available on the company's Stable Channel

According to the story by XDA-Developers, the company has made SteamOS 3.3 available through the company's very own stable channel. This allowed users to reach the public and was previously only available in preview channels and beta.

It was noted that the latest version of the SteamOS will be offering a lot of new updates that are expected to improve audio, stability, playing modes, and a lot more. Due to the update, including a lot of improvements, it will be focusing on the ones that are more important.

New SteamOS will be Supporting New Languages

For users that want to see the full range of features and changes, the details can be found on the official Steam Deck website. First of all, the UI will be coming with a lot of new additions, including a scheduled night mode, reimplementation of the adaptive brightness toggle, the excessive temperature notification, and also the improvements to different colors when users are playing the Remote Play client.

Valve has also fixed a decent amount of issues that users have experienced with the keyboard and have even added support for more languages. The different languages that now have supported include Korean, Japanese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Steam Deck Software Update Includes Three Options for Users to Choose From

The new Steam Deck software update channel gives users three options to choose from. Users will be able to choose between the stable, beta, and preview versions of Valve's SteamOS 3.3.

The stable channel, however, will be the best option for a lot of users because it provides the latest stable release of both the SteamOS and Steam Client. The beta channel is also offering new features for testing and will be providing the latest Steam Client beta as well as the latest stable version of the popular SteamOS.

Numerous Revisions are Going to Come with the Latest Update

The preview channel will finally be available for those that want to try something a little more dangerous. This is because the channel is testing out different system-level features in order to provide the latest Steam Client beta as well as the SteamOS beta.

Just like the previous update, SteamOS 3.3 has a lot of stability and performance updates. The update will also bring in new features for docked and desktop modes.
