Apple is adding a revived classic to its Apple Arcade roster of games, the "Amazing Bomberman." The game will become available only to subscribers of Apple Arcade.

Bomberman Franchise was Created Back in 1983

Bomberman remains one of the most classic games of the early days. The game was initially published all the way back in 1983 when the franchise was created.

According to the story by 9to5Mac, being one of the most classical games, the title has received a number of different sequels and spin-offs released to many different platforms. The spin-offs covered different gaming platforms from Nintendo consoles, PC, PlayStation, and even Xbox.

Addition of the Title will be the First Time Its Franchise Ever Came to Apple

The game's coming to Apple Arcade is such a big deal because this will be the first time the franchise has made its way to Apple devices. Not all Apple users will be able to play the game, however, since they will still have to be subscribers to Apple Arcade.

Konami, the company that owns the Bomberman franchise as of press time, made the official announcement. For those that aren't too familiar with the title, the game basically consists of players needing to drop bombs by placing them around in order to defeat enemies.

'Amazing Bomberman' is Going to Combine Old and New Elements

Every so often, when players break a box, they will be able to get a power-up that could increase the strength of the bombs. The thing about overpowered bombs, however, is that this could also lead to the player's death if they cannot control them and get out of harm's way.

The game, 'Amazing Bomberman,' is expected to combine both the original music, which was made by multiple Japanese artists and the classic gameplay to a new approach with today's technology.

New Features Include Option to Play with Other Gamers Around the World

An example of how the game could include more modern technology is the fact that the game includes a feature that allows players to play versus other people around the world. In a teaser that was shared by developers, the game shows visual elements coming from the original game but with customizable characters now.

As per Konami, there will also be a range of different collectible items that users can customize through the gameplay. The items will be 100% free since Apple Arcade games are known to have no in-app purchases.

How to Play the 'Amazing Bomberman'

Just like other titles within the Apple Arcade games roster, "Amazing Bomberman" can be played on multiple platforms, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. In the United States, however, the Apple Arcade subscription is expected to come with one month for free as a trial period and cost $4.99 per month.

Gamers interested in trying out the "Amazing Bomberman" can get the game when it finally becomes available on the App Store, which is scheduled on August 5.
