"Call of Duty: Warzone" players are still disappointed with the new Caldera map. Many gamers shared that the implemented World War 2 is not really working for them.

Because of this, they are now asking Activision to bring back the Verdansk map. The giant game publisher removed this iconic in-game map in December 2021.
Activision explained that Verdansk's removal is needed for the arrival of "Call of Duty: Vanguard." As of writing, although some gamers are okay with the new Caldera map, other players want the original one back.

According to Metro UK's latest report, a new petition has been created by players who want the return of Verdank in "Call of Duty: Warzone."

In their "Bring Verdansk back (WarZone)" petition, which was published on change.org, the creators said that they are among the gamers who want a choice.
They added that it is not right for Activision to force them to play a particular map or model since not everyone is enjoying the World War 2 theme.
"Many of us love Modern Warfare and love playing with weapons of today. We are a big group that hates WW2 weapons," they explained.
Aside from them, they respectfully ask the game developer to listen to their request since many of them have already considered quitting the game until the new "Modern Warfare 2" arrive this 2022.
On the other hand, the petition stated that gamers are not asking Activision to remove the existing Caldera map. All they want to have is more options, specifically Verdansk and modern weapons.
The petitioners further explained that Activision can even call the return of Verdansk the "Classic Mode."
Why Is 'CoD: Warzone' Caldera Hated?
Dexerto reported that "Warzone" players are getting confused on the Caldera map. Because of this, some of them branded the in-game map as "cheap."
One of their major concerns is that the buildings are too far from each other.
Aside from these, the map also marks areas with no houses.
Of course, the old gun models also disappoint them. As of press time, the petition has already garnered more than 14,000 signatures.

Previously, the "Call of Duty" Ricochet's Disarm update is expected to discourage more cheaters.
