Some data miners have discovered what could be four new potentials "Fortnite" crossovers coming to Epic Games' massively popular battle royale. And apparently, one of those crossovers includes Bungie's "Destiny."

It's still a blessing in disguise for the "Fortnite" player. Find out why.

According to DotESports, one of the data miners called MidaRado has been correct about "Fortnite crossovers" in the past. On that note, here's what they managed to uncover during the datamine:

  • "Destiny 2"
  • "Doom"
  • "Family Guy"
  • "Lord of the Rings"

A "Destiny 2" crossover with "Fortnite" has been rumored as far back as February. As reported by GFinity ESports back then, a Twitter profile called Destiny Bulletin reposted a screenshot of a survey from Epic Games. The survey reportedly asked people which characters they have "definitely seen or heard of," and among them are characters from Bungie's shooter like Mara Sov, Drifter, and Hive:

Next up, the iconic Doomslayer (or Doomguy, for most) has also been rumored only recently. According to TheGamer, leaker HypeX teased the arrival of a Doomslayer skin to the in-game shop. HypeX is also the one who leaked the 40v40 "Zero-build" game mode, which follows the introduction of the new zero-build mode earlier this year.

As for "Family Guy" and "Lord of the Rings," they're not as "reliable" as leaks go - if you'd even call those reliable. For one, fans were only able to notice a LoTR easter egg in "Fortnite" in one of the game's beaches. There, a small replica of the Helm's Deep castle is located, fueling speculation (via Eurogamer). Of course, easter eggs are not the ones that indicate the arrival of new "Fortnite" crossovers in any way.

To cap things off, a "Family Guy" crossover would be nice, but allusions to Peter Griffin being found in the game's files are reportedly something Epic Games tends to only do for fun (via SportsKeeda).

Current 'Fortnite' Crossover Is Still 'Over 9000'

While we wait for the arrival of the four rumored "Fortnite" crossovers, the current one is still live: the "Dragon Ball Z" crossover which came with the 21.40 update. It brought Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Lord Beerus skins. All of these skins also have their own alternate versions if you'd like them a little different, and there are "Dragon Ball" themed quests for players to partake in as well.

These quests are part of the "Power Unleashed" series of quests that will give players special rewards, a Shenron glider (for those who collect the Dragon Balls), and extra battle pass levels for those who want it.

Here is a trailer for the crossover, and as you can see, it's everything you'd want if you're both an avid "Fortnite" player and "Dragon Ball" fan:

As for the loot players will have access to, this includes "Dragon Ball" themed weapons, Creative mode maps, and battle pass-like rewards. Among the weapons include Goku's iconic Kamehameha, which will let you pull the move off mid-match. The Nimbus (aka Kintou) cloud is also there to help you traverse the map via a quick flight.
