Although it's unique compared to other EVs, this new Alibaba electric car will surely excite you as it looks like a life-size Hot Wheels toy.
If you are a fan of Hot Wheels, then you already know that this American-scale model car brand offers toy cars that efficiently represent real-life sports cars.
But, some models are quite unrealistic. Although this is the case, this Weird Alibaba EV was still able to achieve the looks of Hot Wheels cars.
Weird Alibaba EV 2022 Features Life-Size Hot Wheels-Like Car!
According to Electrek's latest report, the new weird Alibaba EV has a 48V/ 4.5 kW electrical system. Considering its small size, this power source is already a great feature since it can reach up to six horsepower (HP).

It can also run for around 50 km/h (31 mph). However, if you use this vehicle's eco-friendly mode, you will have a speed of 35 km/h (21 mph).
For other individuals, this is quite slow. But, if you want to buy this EV for your kids going to college, it is already a great bargain since you won't have to worry about overspeeding.
When it comes to passenger seats, the car is only good for two people (the driver and one passenger).
On the other hand, its other features include front disc brakes together with rear drum brakes, McPherson suspension, an optional air conditioning unit, as well as aluminum rims.
It also offers a key fob for remote locking. Aside from these, there are also power windows and central electric locks.
Price and Design
When it comes to price, Alibaba's official website stated that this new toy-like EV ranges between $5,000 and $5,600.
But, you can get it at a lower price if you purchase more than one unit. Of course, the Chinese retailer assures consumers that they can request refunds if the tiny EV is faulty.
Meanwhile, the images feature on Alibaba show that this two-wheeled electric car has small tires. You can either get it in the color orange, yellow, white, or red.

On the other hand, another weird Alibaba EV, specifically an electric van with an airport-style truck design, also appeared.
