The augmented reality (AR) mobile game "Pokemon GO" continues to amaze its players even six years after its first release. The game developed by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and the Pokemon Company still sits as one of the most popular Pokemon titles in the market.
Pokemon GO Fest 2022 Is Set for a Finale Event Today
One of its latest in-game events is the Pokemon GO Fest 2022. This particular event features randomized Wild Pokemon spawns, Incense Spawns, Pokemon Raids, and Special Research sightings.
A report from Pokemon Go Hub tells us that the Pokemon GO Fest Finale 2022 event will have its last hurrah of Pokemon-hunting activities on Aug. 27. According to the guide, the finale events will commence from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EDT).
Furthermore, this event will feature the appearance of Pokemons not usually available on normal days and occasions. Pokemon GO usually releases new Pokemons to be available in the AR game. For Pokemon GO Fest 2022, they will be unleashing the shiny version of dream eater Pokemon, Munna.
Catch Shiny Munna in the Pokemon GO Fest 2022 Finale Event
Giving a creature 'dream eater' as its nickname might drive you to think that this Pokemon would look like a dark, sharp-fanged nightstalker like Pokemons Gengar, Houndoom, and Zoroark. Munna looks nothing like them.

Bulbapedia, the Pokemon encyclopedia, describes Munna as a pink, nearly spherical, quadrupedal Pokemon. It has really tiny limbs and a tapered snout resembling a real-life tapir. Because of its almost spherical shape, this psychic type is seen always floating in the air.
Pokedex entries from Gen V and VI say that this Pokemon eats dreams of Pokemons and people. Usually, Munna saves people from having really bad nightmares, but people would forget about their dreams and what they had been about.
Munna, in its shiny form, will be joining Pokemon GO on Aug. 27. Make sure to set up some more Pokemon incense and get ready for some brisk walking before you head out to the streets. And also, be mindful of your surroundings when going about catching Pokemons, always be mindful of safety.
How to Catch Shiny Munna
GN24 tells us that many Pokemon fans long have been waiting for its shiny form to arrive. The same report tells us that Munnas will be dominating the Pokemon GO Fest 2022 final event and there is a great chance for a special habitat to make its way in the finale event.
During the event, four unique habitats are said to be found. Reports tell us that Munnas can be found in one of these habitats. Going after Munnas will then expose players to the possibility of finding them in their shiny forms. This looks like some classic Pokemon GO grind.
Aside from Munna, get the chance to encounter five-star raids featuring Pheromosa and Wild Raids featuring a bunch of shinies. You know the drill, save up on berries and Pokeballs and catch 'em all!
