The PC requirements of Hogwarts Legacy have been revealed on Steam. Following the release of its latest trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live, fans now have an idea of what to expect when the game officially rolls out on the PC.

The game has an installation size of 85 GB for minimum and recommended settings. Now, the minimum requirements include an Intel Core 15-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD RX Vega 56. It's enough to run the game at 1080p/60 FPS with low-quality settings and the Upscale Performance setting, as per Gaming Bolt.
For the recommended settings, you will need 16 GB of RAM and a better Nvidia 1080 Ti. It is also noted that the preferred method of running the game includes an SSD.
It's essential to remember that System Requirements can be a bit misleading at times as players may be able to run games at medium settings with solid FPS over the years despite the highly demanding system requirements release. Therefore, it's possible that Hogwarts Legacy could run well even if you don't have a GTX 1070 or an equivalent graphic cards on hand.

Players React to the PC Requirements
These PC requirements got some players worried over an Reddit. Some are worried that their rigs won't be able to keep up with these latest requirements. A lot said that the GTX 1070 requirements may be a lot, while others said that the significant disk space the game will take up is "way more demanding than I thought."There are others who noted the specs mean that the Switch version will be a Cloud Game.
A Quest Exclusive to PlayStation
The listing of the game on the PlayStation Store shows players on PS5 or PS4 will have access to the exclusive quest. On the other hand, players who pre-order the game on PlayStation will receive a recipe for the Felix Felicis potion.
Fans were first made aware of the exclusive mission when the upcoming game went on sale for pre-orders on August 25. According to reports, those who will buy the game on PlayStation would receive the exclusive quest, which isn't available on other platforms.
The exclusive quest for PlayStation comes with any PS version of Hogwarts Legacy, which means regardless if you buy the standard or deluxe editions of the game, you will get access to the quest.
Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for release on February 10, 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
