Disney's Nintendo Switch exclusive gaming title finally unveils as the home of Mickey Mouse, and Dlala Studios introduced the all-new "Disney Illusion Island" game.

The "Disney Illusion Island," which releases exclusively on the Switch hybrid console, puts the shimmer of the spotlight on Mickey Mouse and the rest of his buddies.

Disney's Nintendo Switch Exclusive: 'Illusion Island'

The latest news story by IGN reports that the upcoming 'Disney Ilusion Island" centers on Mickey and Friends, which includes Minnie Mouse, Daisy, Donald Duck, and Goofy.

Disney Games introduced its all-new Switch Exclusive title during its packed D23 Games Stream event.

The upcoming multiplayer game allows a total of four players, wherein they could choose from the "Fab Four" which among them would they be playing for.

'Disney Illusion Island:' No Online Play?

However, according to a recent report by ComicBook.com, the eShop page of Nintendo clarifies that multiplayer only supports couch co-op. That said, it is not available for online gaming sessions.

With that, players of the "Disney Illusion," once it releases soon, could not opt to play with their friends online or team up with random folks on the platform.

What to Expect from the Game Play?

The eShop page of the Switch exclusive title further read that players need to "run, swim, swing, and jump" as they go on an adventure on a "beautiful yet mysterious island."

From there, its players could encounter tons of exciting stuff, such as "rich biomes, intriguing characters, and hidden secrets," the eShop page reveals. They should also expect mind-blowing puzzles, along with fun boss battles.

ComicBook.com notes in the same story that the developer Dlala Studios is working with Disney to make the upcoming Switch exclusive possible. It is worth mentioning that it is also the team behind the all-new 'Battletoads' gaming title.

Given that, the online news outlet assumes that Dlala Studios knows how to put classical characters into an impressive gaming title. However, we could never really say until the new Disney Switch game sees the light of day.

When is 'Illusion Island' Going to be Released?

 The Nintendo eShop page of 'Disney Illusion Island' only says that the upcoming Mickey & Friend title is "releasing in 2023."

So for now, Disney and Nintendo have yet to disclose the official release date of their upcoming game.

But what's clear in the meantime is that it would officially come out sometime next year.
