Ikea’s Swedish House Mafia vinyl record player is coming out next month or this October.

We've got the pricing, along with some of the expected features, such as its connectivity support, ahead of its official release on the giant retailer of all sorts of home products.

Ikea Swedish House Mafia Vinyl Record Player

As per the latest news story by The Verge, the Scandinavian home retailer introduced its upcoming turntable a few months ago, or in June, to be more exact. The entire OBEGRÄNSAD collection is in partnership with the supergroup so-called Swedish House Mafia.

The renowned retailer debuted its new record player during the IKEA Festival, which was held at the Milan Design Week this 2022.

Ikea says its upcoming vinyl player is set to see the light of day in its stores starting this October, allowing its customers to get their hands on their Swedish House Mafia collaboration.

During its introduction, Ikea says that its new record player "celebrates the timeless joy of the listening experience with vinyl records." The retailer highlighted that its turntable rocks a minimal design. It is worth mentioning that the record player looks pretty sleek thanks to its all-black look and its minimal vibe.

The Verge notes in the same report that the Ikea Obegränsad turntable got a modern touch as it readily supports a USB-C connection.

According to a report by Engadget, the record player supports Bluetooth speaker compatibility. But The Verge notes that oddly only works on the Eneby Bluetooth speaker via a wired connection. Maybe that's part of the overall retro vibes that vinyl spinning gives.

Plus, Ikea allows its users to replace its cartridge and needle as needed.

Ikea Obegränsad

As mentioned, the upcoming Ikea turntable is part of its new Obegränsad collection, which was made possible through its alliance with the Swedish House Mafia.

The new lineup of the giant retailer includes a desk, an armchair, and a sleek-looking record player.

The whole lineup sports an all-black minimalist design, which consistently trickles down its music production desk and its armchair. Not to mention that the turntable matches the two perfectly in terms of the overall dark vibe.

The Obegränsad lineup, announced last June, is hitting the retail locations of Ikea starting this Fall.

It is to note that the retailer has yet to provide the specific release date for its upcoming collection, but it should be out this October.
