The Cupertino giant has revealed two new apps that will be only accessible for the upcoming Apple Watch.

According to a recent story by Macrumors, Siren and Depth will be the newest pre-installed apps that will be housed inside the Apple Watch Ultra model.

The first app, Siren will be useful for people who have lost their way while on a trip. This emergency software can perform location-sharing duties on your Apple Watch.

It's interesting to note that when you try to long-press the Action button on the device, there's a signal that will tell you right away about a person's whereabouts.

The Siren app will produce a sound pattern that can extend for up to 600 feet away from the area, thanks to the revamped speakers from Apple Watch Ultra. This feature can hasten search-and-rescue operations in case of urgent situations.

Meanwhile, according to Apple Insider, the Depth app will be the newest companion for divers exploring underwater. This app is perfect for people who are into snorkeling, free diving, and other water activities.

This particular app can detect the depth of the water, as well as its temperature. It will also tell you if you have already reached the maximum depth under the water, which is 130 feet.

Once you go down in the water, you can automatically access the app on your Apple Watch Ultra. You still have the option if you want to activate it manually.

It should be noted that these two apps will be pre-installed on your wearable. If ever a time comes when you want to delete them, but you want to reuse them, you can go to the App Store to redownload them.

The upcoming Apple smartwatch is expected to be more durable than its predecessors. Tech Times previously reported that it would boast its aerospace-grade titanium, which makes it more resistant to corrosion.

Aside from Siren and Depth, you can also explore other apps on this model, including Backtrack, Workouts, and Compass Waypoints.

With an enhanced set of microphones, you can enjoy high-quality sound during video calls and recordings.

The Apple Watch Ultra is a must-grab smartwatch for GPS users that will precisely tell your distance and other data when traversing routes and roads.

The pre-orders for this product will start on Sept. 23. Its initial price will sit at $799.
