Freeview has updated the list of new channels that will come soon on its online streaming service.

According to UK-based publication Express, Freeview has finalized the three channels that will soon become available to British viewers.

The three channels will feature various subjects that will focus on radio stations, Nigerian movies, and children's programs.

The Ketchup Too station is the first channel to arrive on Freeview online streaming service. You can check it on channel 209. This channel is particularly centered on bringing children's content, including Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, Super Why!, and Peppa Pig, one of the most popular British animated series that was released in 2004.

If you want to go back to when radio stations are still trendy, you can tweak your Freeview channel and go to channel 277: UK Radio Portal. Not all viewers can access this, but Freeview offers it so you can enjoy an entirely different setting far from the normal.

Hollywood films are what set today's standards when it comes to mainstream television content. However, some people prefer watching African movies for some change.

If you're one of the people who are fond of Nollywood movies, Freeview makes them accessible to you through Rok on channel 210. Here, you can discover some gems in the film industry, including blockbuster dramas and other video content.

It should be noted that these three channels won't be streaming through the aerial platform of Freeview. You can only access them via the internet.

How to Maximize Your Freeview Experience?

The TV platform suggests that every user should achieve a recommended WiFi speed in their homes which is 5Mbps. In doing so, they can achieve the "best viewing experience" that Freeview has to offer, especially if your target is to watch them in the full-HD display.

Freeview adds that 2Mbps will work fine for SD title streaming. This won't be a problem for the majority of the households in the UK since they receive around 60Mbps for streaming.

Other Freeview Changes

If there is a trio of channels that are now available on Freeview, one channel is reportedly exiting from the platform. Now, 70s is now officially out for streaming, Express noted in the same report.

Next week, the UK TV platform will also lose support for IT Hub. Freeview says that this issue is attributed to outdated features of ITV. The new updates won't work anymore for older models.

Earlier this month, Broadband TV News reported that NHK World Japan has landed on Freeview's Channel box. This public broadcaster is home to hundreds of Asian and Japanese content.
