"Stardew Valley," the farming game that took "Harvest Moon" fans to a whole new level, is not yet done with its updates. Fans are expected to get a v1.6 update soon with additions like a beach farm or other game extras.

'Stardew Valley' v1.6 Update has been Confirmed via the Game's Creator Eric Barone

According to the story by Gameranx, a lot of gamers know and love "Stardew Valley" and luckily, the game is set to release a new update soon. The update, however, is not yet readily available and the publication is not sure when it will launch.

"Stardew Valley" is already gearing up to release its v 1.6 update sometime soon and the game's creator, Epic Barone otherwise known as ConcernedApe, gave a statement in June sharing where they were focused.

Creator Said They were Focusing on 'Modding and Adding' New Content

The creator noted that they were focusing on "modding and adding" new content to the beloved farming adventure game. For those that have long been playing "Stardew Valley," this is huge news since the game itself does not always get updates, especially the ones that are expected to come with new content.

Continuing forward, there are still a lot of things unknown regarding the new update and the only thing for sure, along with a few other details, is that it is officially still coming. Eric Barone gave a response to a fan asking about the update's release.

No Target Release Date for the Upcoming Update

The direct response was that there was no target release date for the update and that it will be available when it is ready. When it comes to the 1.5 updates for mobile, the creator said that it is coming and that it will be available before the 1.6 update launches.

The publication notes that as per the tweet, fans will be getting the "Stardew Valley" Android and iOS 1.5 updates before the consoles get the 1.5 updates. Eric Barone is also working on another title called the "Haunted Chocolatier" which as per the article is similar to "Stardew Valley" in terms of graphics but has a very different plot.
