But it is worth noting that the new loyalty program for PS5 and PS4 gamers has already debuted in Asia, which includes Japan.

Sony PlayStation Stars Loyalty Program
As per the latest news by Engadget, Sony has announced that its PlayStation Stars loyalty program is now available in Asia. It allows gamers in the said region to start enjoying its perks and rewards early on before folks in Australia, the US, and Europe could do so.
Essentially, the new loyalty program for PlayStation gamers allows them to earn rewards after completing certain tasks.
Some of them are pretty easy, while the others are quite extreme to achieve. One of the activities only requires gamers to play any game in their library once a month. And by doing so, they could easily get a reward in return.
However, Engadget notes in its report that some tasks get a bit more intense. But if you are naturally competitive, you could take on the challenge to grab the platinum trophy depending on your region.
Engadget notes that the loyalty program users would have to use the PlayStation app on their mobile devices to access its "full" experience. However, it does not necessarily mean that desktop users could no longer sign up using non-mobile devices.
PlayStation Stars Debuts in the US This October
The Japanese tech giant reveals that the PlayStation Stars is launching in the US next month, following the launch of the loyalty program in Asia.
US PlayStation gamers are about to get their hands on Starts beginning October 5.

How About Other Regions like Europe and Australia?
The launch of the loyalty program in Asia occurred in late Sept. Meanwhile, in the US, it is in early October. But how about PlayStation gamers based in Australia and Europe?

Sony says that PlayStation Stars is launching in the two regions on the same day. It arrives in Australia and the rest of Europe on October 13.
However, according to Game Rant, Sony did not give any specific timing for its release in the US, Australia, and Europe. However, it should arrive anytime within the said dates.
