"MetaFork in the Road" is the latest artwork from Tesla, and it was from Hunter Leggitt Studio, which made the metaphorical piece in Palo Alto, California, for the Burning Man 2022 event. Tesla and Elon Musk are massive on artwork and pieces, as there are several installations from the company found on different Gigafactories, centering on the showcase of multiple artists.

The artwork from Hunter Leggitt is a commission request from the multi-tech CEO, which Musk praised online in his latest tweet.

Yes, Elon Musk is back again with commissioning artworks from renowned contemporary creators for Tesla, centering on a visionary take on life. While the latest design from Hunter Leggitt Studio is not technologically-inclined as much as other art from Tesla, it presents a timely masterpiece that represents the life and decisions of a person.

The art was made by a Denver, Colorado-based creator, Hunter Leggitt, and their team, centering on the "MetaFork in the Road" sculpture that may be found in Palo Alto.

Elon Musk confirms this online, saying that this was "built and paid for" as per the tech CEO's request from the Denver-based studio.

Hunter and the team created this on short notice, with only four weeks to conceptualize, design, fabricate, and install in time for Burning Man 2022.

What is 'MetaFork in the Road'?

The "MetaFork in the Road" is a modern take on a classic metaphor about decision-making, and it represents a person at a crossroads on which path to take. However, in this take, Hunter Leggitt stuck a massive fork in the middle of the road, which separates one choice from the other.

It is a 30-foot tall and 4,500 lbs steel installation which its team did for Burning Man 2022, showcased in the famed week-long event.

Elon Musk and Art

The world's top billionaire is also an art fan, and he let the world know of his fascination with the many artworks he admires and showcases online and at events, including the latest showcase called "Burning Man." Earlier in 2021, Musk also asked for graffiti artwork in the Tesla Gigafactory Berlin, making the factory's facade a canvas to showcase designs.

Back when the Gigafactory Berlin was almost done with its construction, Musk showed the different designs available in the plant, and he asked for more to add to its exterior.

Musk also brought his art fascination over to SpaceX, where he aims to showcase an anonymous Swiss art curator that will feature the first Mars Art Exhibition. It is a venture where he did not reveal the name of the individual to avoid any copies or being taken away from him by rival companies, including Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin or Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic.

Musk and Tesla's latest venture truly created a masterpiece that gives the public a metaphorical representation of decision-making in life, something which people may visit time and time again. People may view this artwork in Palo Alto and take the time to contemplate their life and choices while basking on the MetaFork in the middle of the road.
