Samsung Galaxy S21 FE October 2022 Security Update

As per the latest report by Sam Mobile, Galaxy S21 FE users started receiving the October 2022 security update two weeks ago.

However, it is worth noting that Samsung only rolled out the update to a few countries in Asia.

The update initially sports the firmware version G990EXXU3CVI8 when it launched in a few Asian nations, Sam Mobile notes.

Meanwhile, the South Korean phone maker, Samsung, claims that its latest security update smashes a couple of security vulnerabilities and bugs, making its smartphones safer and smoother.

The renowned tech giant also touts that the latest security update for Galaxy S21 FE is not about addressing security issues. Instead, it also provides performance and stability refinements after its users install the October 2022 update. However, the giant phone maker did not mention which performance hiccups have been fixed.

The software release for this month specifically removes roughly more than four dozen security flaws, which may expose phone users to potential cyberattacks.

October Security Update Now Rolls Out in Europe

After waiting for a couple of days, Galaxy S21 users in Europe could now start getting their hands on the new Samsung security update. Its firmware version in the European region is G990BXXS2CVI5.

Sam Mobile reports that the update is available in various European nations, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, and France. Not to mention that it is also rolling out to Italy, Ireland, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Portugal, Greece, and Spain.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Poland, and Macedonia could now get their hands on the latest update as well.

It remains to be seen when the Korean phone maker plans to release the security update to Galaxy S21 FE users in the United States. But it should start rolling out in the next few days.
