The game will focus on an arena PvP online shooter game, and it might have similar dynamics to Epic Games' "Fortnite," and "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds."
However, the main focus of the game is allegedly focusing on team plays, and not a battle royale according to the leakers.

Leakers flocked to Reddit to deliver on Ubisoft's latest game, under the codename "Project U," where developers and game designers explain what the game is all about. This developer teaser is available on different platforms like Twitter and Streamable to deliver the game's introduction to the world.
The developers talked about Ubisoft's latest title that will bring a new experience for all, one that will center on an online shooter PvP experience. The developers also said that the "U" in the codename stands for "unity," a characteristic that the game would focus on, as it will promote teamwork and camaraderie to win the matches.
Additionally, the designers talked about the inspirations and development of its characters coming soon for the world to see. Also, it may not be free-to-play.

What to Expect on Ubisoft's 'Project U'?
The game is still in early development as per the announcement, and there is no information as to what its title would be, or when would Ubisoft unveil the game.
Additionally, Project U will focus on an online arena PvP shooter game in the third-person, as evidenced by the clips provided. It will not be a battle royale game like "PUBG," "Fortnite," or Activision Blizzard's latest "Overwatch 2."
It promotes playing with friends and teammates, but there would be a challenge for gamers as developers regarded that this will not be an easy game.

Still, "Project U" is a new take for Ubisoft and a massive development for the company towards a new experience, mainly focusing on the online shooter platform for their offers. It aims to deliver a new PvP gameplay for the world, different from the famous releases now with the likes of Activision Blizzard's "Overwatch 2" and "Call of Duty: Warzone 2."
