Lucid Air electric vehicle (EV) sales have reached an impressive milestone in the third quarter (Q3) of 2022.

But how many EVs did Lucid Air deliver in the last three months, spanning from July to September?

Lucid Air EV Sales in the Last Three Months

As per the latest report by Inside EVs, Lucid Motors has sold the most Lucid Air EVs in the last three months or the third quarter of 2022.

In fact, the news outlet notes that the production of the Lucid Air sedan has roughly more than tripled to the performance of the EV maker in the second quarter of the year.

It is worth noting that Lucid Motors only produced nearly 700 units between April and June. However, this time, the EV maker reveals that it has booked a production milestone as it has produced around 2,282 electric cars in the third quarter.

The latest production output of Lucid Motors is the highest ever for this year. The automaker has a slow start, only producing roughly 360 vehicles in the first quarter of 2022, Inside EVs reports.

However, it should be pointed out that these production figures are still preliminary numbers. Instead, the EV maker is set to release the official count next month or on November 8 in time for its 2022 Q3 financial report.

How Many Lucid Air EVs Have Been Delivered?

Inside EV further highlights in its report that Lucid Motors has also improved its delivery performance in the last three months.

The Lucid Air deliveries for the third quarter achieved a record high of nearly 1,400. And in total, the preliminary figures hint that the all-electric automaker has already shipped close to 2,500 vehicles this year.

Lucid Air Production On Track with 2022 Goals

According to a recent report by CNBC, the luxury carmaker, Lucid, claims that it is on track to its production goal for this year.

Given that, the EV maker is looking to produce around 6,000 vehicles before this year comes to an end.

CNBC reports that the tech firm initially targeted to produce roughly 20,000 Air EVs for this year. But the carmaker decided to target a more conservative goal, ranging from 12,000 to 14,000 last February.

But in August, Lucid updated its production goals again, bringing down to 6,000 to 7,000 EVs before 2022 ends. And now, the carmaker says it is on its way to hitting this goal.
