WESTMINSTER, CO - NOVEMBER 26: Black Friday shoppers walk out of Walmart with a full shopping cart on November 26, 2021 in Westminster, Colorado. More shoppers are expected to shop in than last year after the COVID-19 pandemic caused the quietest Black Friday in 20 years.

'The Netflix Hub' Shop

Netflix and Walmart will be innovating their digital merch store into a physical one as it will be coming to 2,400+ Walmart stores, announced by the two companies on Thursday in a statement

The Netflix Hub will offer its consumers official merchandise from fan-favorite series and movies on the platform such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, The Witcher, and more. A $19.99 Netflix gift card will also be available in the store that subscribers can use for a single month of Netflix Premium, based on the recent price hike.

Aside from the two, The Verge reported that both companies will also be selling a kit that users will be needing when watching a series or film on Netflix. This included food goods like popcorn, chips, and candies.

Walmart Content and Digital Vice President Frank Barbieri said that this partnership was very personal to him. He stated on a blog post, "I have so many fond memories of perusing the movie aisle looking for the perfect film to watch with my family on movie night, sometimes sneaking a bag of candy or popcorn into the cart along the way. This is something I thought my kids would never experience, until now."

Official Merchandises

Based on the announcement, Walmart and The Netflix Hub currently offers the Stanger Things Lite Brite Wall Art, the Ready Set Stream Netflix Gift Card, Stranger Things Concessions Kit, Stranger Things Advent Calendar and Greeting Cards, and Funko Pops featuring characters from Squid Game.

Both companies also indicated in their statement that they promise to drop other merchandise depending on the season or new releases to keep trending favorites for the customers all throughout the year.
