"Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet" is nearing its Nov. 18 release, and the Pokemon Company is now rolling out more packed teasers. On Tuesday, Nov. 8, a new "Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet" trailer dropped, and it is filled with exciting surprises.

Latest Trailer

Like past trailers, the latest one is filled with in-game footage that left many Pokemon fans on the edge of their seats. This one is a lot more special as it is accompanied by Ed Sheeran's "Celestial," a song that was released back in September in coordination with The Pokemon Company.

In the trailer, we have witnessed several game features and details revealed in previous trailers. We saw many instances when Pokemon were in their splendid Terastallized mode and also some glimpses of in-game characters.

New Pokemon

There are a few easter eggs in the video as well, in case you missed them. Two legendary creatures, "Great Tusk" and "Iron Treads" were briefly visible.

Although there has been no trailer video to explain the two great beasts, their official website has already essentially revealed some of their lore. In essence, there are two books-the Scarlet Book and the Violet Book-each of them, which contains images and sketches of creatures whose identities are unknown. More information is available here.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as previously teased, will include a slew of new game features that will alter how the game is played. We've also been told that this new-generation Pokemon game will include new Pokemon, ranging from the cutest to the most powerful legendaries.

The trailer also revealed the new starter Pokemon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, as well as the two legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon.

Grafaiai, Fidough, Paldean Wooper, Cetitan, Cyclizar, Smoliv, Klawf, Lechonk, Pawmi, Wiglett, and game-exclusive Armarouge and Ceruledge round out the roster.

The Pokémon Company also debuted Bellibolt, a new electric frog, Greavard, a terrifying graveyard puppy, and Gimmighoul, a small guy who enjoys collecting coins and hiding inside chests filled with them.

More Latest Updates

According to Polygon, the Pokémon Company has also detailed "Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles," a unique type of Tera Raid that is reportedly much more powerful than regular crystals. From December 1-4 and December 15-18, the first-ever Pokémon to appear in the new Black Crystal battles will be Charizard.

How do Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles work? According to a news release, players may encounter black crystals during adventures that are different from the ones they would typically approach to engage in a Tera Raid Battle.

Following the completion of certain postgame events, players will be able to engage in Tera Raid Battles at Black Crystal. While using a Link Code, players who haven't finished the event can still join other Trainers in multiplayer to take part in these Tera Raid Battles.
