Twitter is focusing on a new feature for the platform that will further help its verification feature, now centering on Organizations to identify a person's affiliation or company for the public to know. Musk did not give the exact timeline of the feature, but said that it will be rolling out for the user soon, something that would add another label to a person's profile for their proper identification.

The tech CEO revealed this earlier today, centering on the latest feature coming to Twitter, but it seems like it is not much appreciated by some members of the social media.

Chief Twit announced a new feature that is rolling out to the public soon, revealing to the world the latest addition to the platform, like what he does with Tesla, SpaceX, and more. This one will center on Twitter Organizations, something that would add a label to public accounts, especially the verified ones, regarding their affiliations with a certain company or organization.

The top billionaire said that people associated with a specific organization or entity will be put together under one label and help the public discern their online presence.

Musk said that Twitter will be the "final arbiter" of the organizations, having the final say regarding who is part of this certain company, to properly identify their affiliation.

Twitter Organizations: How Would It Work?

Twitter Organizations have no specific features now, especially on how it would work once it is available on the platform's social media experience. Musk did not specify if it will be like the Verification feature for Politicians where there is an extra designation under their names on tweets with every post they make.

Musk said that organizations would have a chance to "manage affiliations" to help verify if the said person is part of their association.

Twitter and Elon Musk

Musk's leadership over Twitter is one of the most controversial things now, especially as many do not approve of his takeover of the company and the track it is heading at the moment. There is news regarding the Musk-era Twitter seeing a potential bankruptcy by 2023, and it is a massive thing for the company, as one of the most famous social media may cease to exist.

The popular platform initially had a new policy regarding verification where users have to pay an $8 subscription to continue availing of its services, something which a lot protested about, including New York Representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Nevertheless, Musk's arrival on Twitter is a massive change in the social media's leadership, as well as its operations in both the day-to-day and the big picture.

There are already those who deactivated their Twitter accounts and were suspended during Musk's takeover, with some employees also seeing a voluntary exit from the company.

Now, there is a new feature coming to the platform that would help identify people by adding another label feature to the online experience with Twitter Organizations. Musk aims to properly mark a person's affiliation with a said company or organization, allowing the public to know which company they are from, despite not having this on their Twitter Bio.
