Meta's Facebook is looking into a new change on its platform, and it is by removing the basic and contact information as seen on one's profile, with these data available since the early days of the social media. Now, it is removing the likes of political views, religion, and sexuality on one's profile, looking into a new age in its use.
The change will affect all of Facebook's operations in the world, with the contact and basic information on the public's profile will cease to exist.

Meta spokesperson Emil Vasquez shared information (via Gizmodo) regarding the latest changes taking place at Facebook, centering on a person's security and privacy online. Gone are the days when the social media platform is the hub for knowing everything regarding a person, as some want to have their presence unknown to many, still having privacy despite having accounts.
The main purpose of this change on Facebook is to make the platform easier to use and navigate, as per Vasquez, centering on a new environment for the platform.
The change will be monumental, as navigating to one's profile, or other people's would no longer display this information like basic and contact information, as well as Religion, Gender, and Political views.
Facebook will center on these changes come December 1. Matt Navarra also shared how this would look and notify users to come to the rollout.

Is Facebook Aiming to be a Judgment-Free Zone?
It seems like another point of this is to have no judgments or discrimination online, having no information to use against a user posted on their profile, available for anyone to see. The change will arrive soon, and users may download this information should they need it, with Facebook offering this option.

Facebook is one of the most used social media platforms in the world, and since its emergence in 2004, the company maintained a massive number of users and fans of the service. With that, many apps connect their services to Facebook, centering on the many features it has available with integrating their accounts and using their profiles.
However, there are complaints regarding this Facebook-app connection, especially as there are concerns about the risks it brings.
Meta aims to make Facebook still the most massively-used social media platform in the world, centering on the many creator and collaboration tools where people may push their brand or content. Also, it aims to help businesses and brands with new tools to help them, one of which centers on a potential IP violation report feature.
The social media company centers on one of its largest platforms to date with these latest changes, aiming to help the public experience a judge-free zone, making this information private to them. It means that those who initially filled these out when creating their profiles will no longer see it starting December 1, with this information already unavailable on their walls.
