"Made in China" gets a new meaning for its military planes, particularly as new reports claim that the East Asian country is now utilizing 3D printing technology to create parts of its aircraft. The switch centers on a more cost-efficient and faster way to manufacture China's defense needs, centering on the 3D printing technology's application for military aviation.

While 3D printing is mostly used for household tech and gizmos, or other everyday objects that one sees, it now sees a new purpose for China's military applications.

Three-dimensional printing is known for being the faster way without producing more trash and wasted resources on its deliveries, with China focusing on its application to create its military aircraft. According to a report by Global Times, China's new generation warplanes already utilize 3D printing technology focused on an engineering level.

The team called Luo Yang Youth Commando has already mastered the art of 3D printing, with ways to integrate it into its production of military planes.

China's team claims that it is in a "world-leading position" with its military applications of the 3D printing technology, one that proves effective for answering its needs.

Faster Manufacturing, Cost-Efficient

According to Interesting Engineering, the team claims that 3D printing helps them see faster manufacturing on their military planes, as well as saving on its production due to the technology being cost-efficient. The team also claims that these aircraft are more lightweight, as well as have a long service life to suit China's needs for warplanes.

China's Military Aircraft

China is not only catching up to the world with its technology and smart devices, but the country is also improving its military technology which can rank with the world's superpowers as it modernizes. One example would be China's new H-20 Stealth Bomber aircraft which is a direct rival to the United States B-21 Raider, which would release by December.

The world is already in a technology-centric era where many countries are on the verge of improving every aspect of it, including their military, infrastructures, and more.

With that said, China is one of the fastest-growing countries in the world, and it exhibits these with its many technological advancements which surprise nations in the present. There is one Chinese jet engine that utilizes kerosene as its fuel, with the capabilities to deliver Mach speeds, known to be faster than the speed of sound for the cheaper fuel alternative.

Beijing's focus on military technology is massive and sees rapid growth in the present, which is a big indication that the country is evolving towards modernity and self-sustenance. The new 3D printing application for its military aircraft is a massive step towards creating more in shorter periods and limited budgets, said to be effective for the country.
