Free Steam Deck To Be Given Away Every Minute
As per the latest news story by The Verge, Valve announced that it plans to give away free Steam Deck handheld PCs during The Game Awards 2022. The event is just a few days away. It is kicking off this December 8.
It is worth noting that Valve says that it is giving away Steam Deck handheld devices every minute of The Game Awards.
So The Verge did the math. It is estimated that roughly 150 folks could get a chance to get their hands on a free Steam Deck while watching the much-awaited awarding event.
Valve is pretty serious about its promo. According to Steam, it is giving away a top-of-the-line handheld gaming PC, which can store tons of games thanks to its 512GB solid-state storage.
The gaming firm announced that "we will be giving away one 512GB Steam Deck every minute during the live airing of The Game Awards."
Not to mention that the gaming experience with this Steam Deck is less distracting due to its built-in anti-glare screen.

How to Watch The Game Awards, and Get a Free Steam Deck
The most expensive Steam Deck variant can be yours when you sign in to Steam to watch The Game Awards on December 8.

Valve is giving away free Steam Deck every minute during The Game Awards 2022 this December.
However, it is important to note that viewers need to watch it on either 2022 The Game Awards page of Steam or Steam.TV. Otherwise, you will not be eligible to receive the free Steam Deck, which Valve is giving away every single minute of the event.
On top of that, the promo is only available in certain regions, which include Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
It is also available in various European locations, such as France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, and Denmark. If you are from Austria, Finland, Greece, Hungary, or Italy, you also have a chance to get a freebie.
Valve is also giving away free Steam Decks to Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden viewers. Not to mention that Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, and Estonia are also part of the craze.
Aside from merely watching, viewers also need to have bought something on Steam from 12:00 am GMT on Nov. 14 2021 to Nov. 14, 2022, at 11:59 pm.
