Final Fantasy XVI players may encounter some adult themes within the game as per the rating provided by Brazil.

Brazil's rating for Final Fantasy XVI has been released, and with it, a glimpse into the game's themes.

As Game Rant reported, creators Hiroshi Takai and Naoki Yoshida of Final Fantasy 14 fame are at the helm of Square's development studio, Creative Business Unit III.

Fans' eagerness for Final Fantasy XVI's release is shown by the game's presence in a category for "most anticipated" at The Game Awards.

Storyline

The realm of Final Fantasy XVI is called Valisthea, and it is dominated by Mothercrystal Mountains, which are covered with glittering crystals.

The mountains have provided ether to the kingdoms for a very long time, and the people have been able to live in relative peace and prosperity as a result.

In the past, great powers flourished in the areas surrounding each Mothercrystal, but as a terrible disease sweeps throughout the land, that peace is beginning to sway.

Clive Rosfield, the player character, is the oldest son of the Archdeacon of Rosaria. He swears to protect his younger brother Joshua but turns to the dark side after terrible things happen to the family.

M-Rated

Final Fantasy XVI's Mature classification in Brazil is consistent with the series' traditional setting and suggests that it will have adult content.

The "M" rating that Final Fantasy XVI received is the highest rating possible in Brazil's Indicative Rating System. It is considered inappropriate for anybody under the age of 16.

Along with the classification came a document detailing the game's content, including nudity, prostitution, drug usage, suicide, torture, and brutal violence.

Reports say both the trailers and Yoshida's prior statements indicate that this installment would be more adult than the previous ones in the series.

With this new knowledge, fans have a lot to guess about the tale of Final Fantasy XVI, which is more intimate than earlier games.

Most-anticipated Release

Naoki Yoshida, the director of Final Fantasy, will be present at The Game Awards for "a very special live presentation," as Geoff Keighley tweeted

While Yoshida has been silent on the specifics of what the audience might expect, he has said that a new trailer and release date would be made available before the end of 2022. Square Enix may surprise fans by announcing Final Fantasy XVI's release date at The Game Awards 2022.

It is unknown at this time when Final Fantasy XVI will be released. However, there will be a demo available so that gamers may experience the drama and turmoil of Valisthea before buying the full game, according to Game Rant.

The high hopes are justified, given that Final Fantasy XV was published in 2016-a full year after the diversity debate around Final Fantasy XVI began.

Six years have passed since players accompanied Noctis and his companions on their quest to retake their lost country, and now they are eager to meet a new group of characters and begin a new adventure.
