"Pokemon Scarlet and Violet" has introduced a brand-new feature in the mainline game by bringing the Tera Raid Battles for players who want an extra challenge in their journey.
Although the story of the newest Pokemon game is quite easy, the end game is much tougher than you expect.
Participating in a six-star raid is the best post-game activity you can do. Aside from fighting the most powerful beasts in their Tera form, you can also obtain huge prizes and rewards.
What is a Six-Star Raid?
Polygon writes that the stars in each raid will depend on the opponent's difficulty. If there are more stars, the enemy is hard to defeat. Of course, since it's more difficult, it comes with a nicer set of rewards to harvest.
How to Unlock Six-Star Raids?
One to five-star raids can be accessed even if you don't finish the main story of "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet." However, the six-star raid is exclusive to those players who accomplished the game by becoming the new champion of Paldea.
To do this, you must collect all the badges across the region and enter the Academy Ace Tournament. You need to dominate the competition to unlock the big-time raid. Also, you need to participate in several 5-star raids before that happens.
After accomplishing all these tasks, your homeroom teacher will call you to tell you that the 6-star raids are now available in the region. This time, you can explore and find each of them to start the real test of faith.
How to Search for a Six-Star Raid?
Unfortunately, finding a six-star raid in the Paldean region is quite hard if you won't rely on the map. However, there are Raid markers to guide you regarding their location.
Once you see the marker where a Raid is present on the map, you can summon your friends to join the event. The color of the crystal will determine the Tera type of the Pokemon in a six-star raid.
If you want to defeat a Pokemon in a 6-star raid, make sure your lineup includes at least lvl. 90 Pokemon. Low-level Pokemon won't endure the heavy damage from the powerful monsters.

What Can You Get After Completing Six-Star Raids?
Aside from the adrenaline players can feel upon raiding a high-leveled beast in a six-star raid, players often join raids because of the exciting rewards waiting for them.
Nintendo Life says that some of the rewards that they can receive include the following:
- Crafting materials for TMs
- Rare Candies
- Mints
- Feathers
- Tera Shards
- EXP Candy
- Other items that you can sell
- Tera Pokemon
