A video posted earlier today shows a clear recollection of an unfortunate event earlier, where a United States military aircraft, the F-35 combat jet, seemingly landed and crashed on the ground. After it touched the ground for the second and final time before it spiraled out of control, it showed the pilot using the aircraft's ejector seat to move away from trouble.

It is unknown why the US government pilot ejected from the aircraft which was already on the ground, with his medical condition also remaining undisclosed.

CBS 11 reporter, Doug Dunbar, shared a video via Twitter that shows a clearer view of what happened during an F-35 flight, one which shows how it crashed moments after landing.

The video's events show that the military aircraft and its pilot were initially hovering before it attempted to land vertically, not using a runway to bring it down. This happened on the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base at Fort Worth.

All is normal as the F-35 was descending from the air, but soon after its landing fear touched the ground, the aircraft bounced from the ground and had its tail ascending.

It caused the jet to crash land nose down from a rather low position, and after several moments of spiraling out of control, the pilot used its ejector seat to move away from the F-35 jet.

Is This Part of a Protocol or a Training Exercise?

According to a Washington Post report, the officials have not yet named the US government personnel flying the plane. Also, the report claimed that it seemingly had its vertical thrust causing the aircraft to lose control on its landing and safely stopping it.

It is unknown if this is part of the Air Force's training exercise, as well as if it was protocol to eject from the plane in an event of losing control of it.

US Military Aircraft

The country is best known for its fleet of military aircraft that it uses for defense and protecting the home, also for its missions in different regions of the world. With this, the US military centers on the many advancements to improve its lineup and deliver top security for its land and citizens, with multiple projects with contractors and ventures.

Back in 2020, Lockheed Martin, best known for their work on the F-35 stealth fighter jet, faced hardships in delivering to the US Air Force's requirements due to the lockdown and the pandemic.

One of the most recent developments to the Air Force's fleet is the B-21 Raider, the most advanced stealth nuclear strategic bomber that was unveiled earlier this December for the world to see. It is a creation from Northrop Grumman which was commissioned by the military to help the United States in its aerial advancements and needs.

It is an egregious process to be a part of the US military and Air Force, as its members need to train long and hard to ensure the protection and security not only of themselves and their platoons but also of the civilians they need to keep safe.

The recent crash and ejection still have unknown reasons behind them, with the video providing the context of what recently happened with the F-35.
