India recently launched its famed Agni-V long-range nuclear ballistic missile last week, and it showed the country's defensive might should there ever be a need in the future for it.

This missile test from the country took place at a highly tense time for India and China, especially as there is current chaos on its borders where both countries exhibit aggression.

Aljazeera reported that the Indian government recently test-fired one of its most powerful missiles to date, the Agni-V long-range nuclear ballistic weapon. This new weapon will help the country boost its defensive measures against possible attacks in the future, particularly with the rising tension between New Delhi and Beijing.

India's Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that the Agni-V completed its test missile launch last Thursday, December 15, which it regarded as an added measure to its national security.

The Agni-V intercontinental ballistic missile is capable of targets within the 5,400 km (3,300 mi) radius, capable of reaching almost all of Asia, extending to the farthest location in northern China, and even in several locations in Europe.

China and India's Tension in its Country's Borders

Interesting Engineering said that both east Asian countries are currently in a rigid relationship with each other, rooting at its border problems where the edge of both countries' lands intersect with each other. There was once an incident caught on video that shows Indian and Chinese soldiers going off in hand-to-hand combat on the heated border.

Nuclear Weapons Present in the World

Many countries have nuclear weapons and defense measures from their arsenals to use in times of massive conflict with different countries, as well as for protecting their land from external threats. One of the most notable countries for this is Russia, centering on its alleged plans to create the world's longest submarine that will prepare it should there be a cold war.

It is known that countries like China, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, South Korea, and the United States are famous for their nuclear weapons of mass destruction, equipping them in times of great danger.

Now, it adds India to the list, especially with the growth of the country as a technology manufacturer and other industries propagating on the country.

The east Asian massive country, apart from China, is also famous for its ventures towards security and defense, as well as the space industry where it debuts its rockets and missions to the world.

India and China's problems are at a high right now, and the tension between these two countries is not dying down despite the upcoming international holiday coming. And with the recent test run of India's Agni-V which is capable of leveling countries or states, only signifies the current rise in the tension of both Asian superpowers and their capabilities to attack and defend from each other.
