Ever since Musk took over the social media platform, the criticisms he faced worsened.

Now, it seems like his way of handling Twitter affects the decision of Tesla consumers.

Tesla sales employees who receive cancelation requests said it is no longer new to hear that consumers are ending their reservations due to the billionaire's "toxic behavior."

Aside from Elon's attitude, other Tesla consumers, who are about to receive their EV orders or complete their lease payments, shared that they are afraid that other people will harass them online.

Many individuals on Twitter and other social media platforms are against Elon Musk.

"His personality is absolutely tanking the Tesla brand," said Heather, a biotech executive leasing a Tesla Model S.

Will Elon Musk Resign as Twitter CEO?

According to CNBC's report, Elon Musk posted a poll on Twitter to ask if he should resign as the social media company's CEO.

This is not the first time the billionaire hinted at his interest in resigning as Twitter's CEO.

In November, he shared that he wanted to find somebody who could lead Twitter so that he could save more time for other business activities.

In his latest poll, Musk said that he is willing to resign as a chief executive officer if there's someone "foolish enough" to take over Twitter.

The billionaire even promised that he will abide by the poll's result; the majority of the poll voters (over 57%) agreed that he should resign.

It is still unclear if his Twitter resignation poll is connected to Tesla's canceled orders and leases.

As of press time, the billionaire hasn't confirmed if he will really step down as the social media platform's CEO.

Although the billionaire is facing many criticisms, he is making various efforts to enhance Tesla's products further.

Previously, the Tesla Steam support was rolled out to allow EV owners to enjoy the holidays more.

A new Tesla radar also appeared in an FCC filing.
