Steam Winter Sale 2022 now offers an "Elden Ring" discount, making it 30 percent more affordable in time for the Christmas holiday season.

The Steam Winter Sale also includes other offerings like "God of War" and "The Witcher 3."

Steam Winter Sale 2022 Offers a Rare Elden Ring Discount

As per the latest news story by PC Gamer, the action role-playing game of FromSoftware, none other than Elden Ring, is part of the massive Steam Winter Sale 2022.

The news outlet notes that it is the first instance that the hit RPG game got a discount on Steam since it launched early this year. And for a first-timer, the price cut is quite huge.

Christmas is absolutely right around the corner as the Steam Winter Sale is back at it again. It brings massive discounts to numerous games until next year, running until January 5, 2023.

Given that, you have a couple more days to get your hands on various hit titles for less on Steam.

One of the offerings is the "Elden Ring," which sees a 30 percent discount from its typical price tag. And as such, the RPG title is now only $42 on Steam.

On top of that, "The Elden Ring Deluxe Edition" is also part of the massive sale event, slashing its price to merely $56. It already includes the game itself, along with some bonuses, such as its breathtaking soundtrack and digital artbook.

Massive Discounts on Steam Winter Sale 2022

Apart from the rare "Elden Ring" discount, the Steam Winter Sale is home to tons of deals.

According to a recent report by Kotaku, the massive sale includes Steam Deck-verified titles and other non-verified offerings.

For the Steam Deck-ready games, "The Witcher 3 Complete Edition" is now only $10, down from its original retail price of $40. "God of War" is cheaper to the tune of $30, thanks to a $20 discount.

Chep finds include "Generation Zero" and "Overcooked 2," which are $5 and $6.24, respectively.

Games not verified for Steam Deck include "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order," which only costs $4.80. "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is down to $19.80 from its usual $60 price tag.

Meanwhile, "Cyberpunk 2077" now retails for $30. A massive discount also brings down the price of the "Guardians of The Galaxy" to $21."

All these massive hit games are available for sale on the official digital storefront of Valve's Steam until January next year.
