YouTube has already started rolling out an early test for its "add to queue" system on Android and iOs. The latest report suggests that it will only be exclusive to Premium users.

For those unfamiliar with this feature, it's been available for quite a long time in the desktop and smart TV version of the YouTube app.

YouTube confirms that the queuing feature for videos will run until January 28 next year.

According to a report by The Verge, YouTube Premium subscribers who want to get used to the feature can finally participate in the test. Soon, they can now add pending clips in their playlist.

You can activate the feature to gain access to the "Play last in queue" button. You can see it in a dot menu which you usually see on the thumbnail of a YT video.

Once you click this, the video will automatically be added to the bottom of the queue list. If you still haven't started the viewing yet, you can make a new queue.

After you finish watching a clip, the next clip will play in the background until there's nothing left to play on the list.

You have the freedom to reorganize the videos. If you wish to remove them, you can also do that by clicking the "x" button located at the bottom bar. In doing so, your queued clips will now be deleted.

Regardless whether you're using a TV or a PC, you can start using this queue system if you wish to test out how your list works.

Since it's still on a test phase, this YouTube feature is expected to be available until January 28. The video-viewing platform has not yet mentioned if it will be available to non-paying users soon.

Previously, YouTube has tested out the picture-in-picture test for iPhone users for a few months. After some time, the company officially released the feature to the public. However, it's not still smooth as anyone expects so there will be some changes to be made in the future.

In another report by 9to5Google, the YouTube Premium users can do the following steps to get started with the queue feature on the app.

  1. From your iOS or Android YouTube app, click your profile avatar. You can see it in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Head to the Settings and click Try New Features.
