A popular Twitter tipster has posted some press images of the upcoming Motorola ThinkPhone.

Before SnoopyTech tweeted the press images of the rumored Moto smartphone, it was Evan Blass who first shared a tweet about its renders.

As Phone Arena writes in its report on Thursday, Dec. 29, one image hints that the smartphone will be water-resistant thanks to the obvious sighting of droplets and water all over the background.

While many people are focused on its IP rating, some notice that the ThinkPhone might be sporting a carbon fiber design aside from the fact that it's sitting on a charging dock.

Moreover, the leaker also mentioned in his tweet that the Motorola ThinkPhone will sport a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. He reinstated the previous rumor that the smartphone will run on Android 13.

The ThinkPhone is expected to come with 68W charging capability for its 5000mAh battery. Beside that, it is rumored to arrive with a 6.6-inch pOLED display which will deliver 144Hz refresh rate.

Other Interesting Specs to Expect

For modern version smartphones especially to high-end models, having an 8GB RAM is now the standard. Of course, the storage options shouldn't be limited to just one choice. More handsets are now released with storage variations such as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The Motorola ThinkPhone is expected to have these options.

Regarding its cameras, insiders believe that it will sport a 32 MP selfie camera, apart from its 50MP primary shooter, depth sensor, and a 13MP ultra-wide lens.

Another interesting thing about this smartphone is it will come with an under-display fingerprint sensor, something that Apple fans expect to see in the 2024 version of iPhone.

It's fascinating how far Motorola can go just to impress the smartphone fans with the release of ThinkPhone. Soon enough, we will hear more official details from them about this product.

Whether it's coming with a 5G support or not is something that fans do not know yet. If it will feature a next-gen connectivity, then this is good news to deliver for the customers.

The design of ThinkPhone is something that's taken out of Lenovo's book. Without any doubt, it's inspired from the ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop.
