The Revelation of the 240W Charger is Expected to Happen on January 5

According to the story by Giz China, the new tech is still being rumored but could be on the way. Fans will have to wait until the company's next tech event in China to learn more about further details regarding this fast-charging technology.

On January 5, during a tech event in China, Realme will showcase the new 240W charger, rumored to be called "SuperVOOC" and powered by Oppo's R&D labs. Live images of the leaked charger have since surfaced, as seen on GSM Arena, revealing a device with 20V at 12A current. 

The Fast Charger is Rumored to Come with One of the Realme GT Neo 5 Variants

It is rumored that the Realme GT Neo 5, as seen in a video by Technical Desk on YouTube, is likely to come with two variants - a "high-end" version with the 240W Charger and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a secondary option with a "150W" charging and a different Processor. 

Realme GT Neo 5 has a Battery Capacity of 4,500 to 4,600 mAh

The charger is expected to make sure that the dual-cell battery in the Realme GT Neo 5 can handle the intense power supply with minimal negative implications. Moreover, battery capacitance is expected to be around 4,500 or 4,600 mAh to ensure the phone's safety. 

Realme has been on the rise in the mobile industry of late, and its upcoming device is a clear testament to its drive to make advancements in the mobile charging segment.
