AMD did not let its fans, enthusiasts, and critics hanging for long, as it immediately started with revealing the Ryzen 7040 series computer processors to the world, coming this March. According to Dr. Lisa Su, "Semiconductors are absolutely essential in everything we do," claiming that chips are "critical enablers" of modern life.

First off, the AMD 7040 Series processors feature the 4nm process technology, with transistors almost twice as many as the Ryzen 6000 series. Dr. Su claims that it is faster than x86 competitors and Apple, as demonstrated in a blender rendering application, 30 percent faster than Apple's top chip.

Moreover, this new chip extends battery life for devices, for up to 30 hours of video playback. Additionally, it features a new Ryzen AI feature under 7040, real-time gaming performance, and better security.

The Ryzen 7040 coming on March 2023, on ultrathin gaming notebooks, for more than 250 gaming laptops with the latest chip.
