Exhibitors in the CES 2023 took the stage in ushering in a new experience for all regarding gaming laptops, and these new PCs are massive with as much as 18 inches of screen. Bigger is better, right? And not only that, its internals and parts are more than capable to boast of its massive build, with companies including Acer, Asus, Alienware, and Razer debuting it at the event. 

CES 2023: Four 18-Inch Gaming Laptops Unveiled

These four companies took the CES 2023 stage and revealed a new age of gaming laptops for all, now featuring an inch bigger than the previous largest size for the laptop, 17 inches. 

The trend is now with 18, and it presents a massive display to give gamers more to see on their experience, with their setup available at any place and time to their liking. 

Asus ROG Strix Scar 18

ASUS updated its Republic of Gamers Strix SCAR gaming laptops with two releases, the 16-inch, and 18-inch, but one that stood out among the company's releases was the larger one. 

It features a 16:10 aspect ratio on its wide display, equipped with QHD 240Hz screen refresh rate, Nebula HDR technology, and mini LED. 

The ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 packs in the Intel Core i9 13980HX processor, featuring the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU. 

The new 18-inch gaming laptop from ASUS's famed ROG lineup will be available by Q2 2023, with no pricing yet revealed by the company.

Acer Predator Helios 18

The Predator is also seeing another massive upgrade for its lineup from Acer, also joining the 18-inch bandwagon in the present.

The Acer Predator Helios 18 features the 13th Gen Intel Core i9 or i7 choices for processors, as well as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU to match gamer needs. It also features a 16:10 ratio, and three display choices: WUXGA (1920x1200) at 165 Hz, WQXGA (2560×1600) at 165 Hz or 240 Hz, or AUO's superfast 250 Hz Mini LED.

For memory and storage, the Helios 18 offers 32 GB DDR5-4800 MHz RAM and up to 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.

Acer will offer the Predator Helios 18 starting at $1,750 starting April.

Alienware m18

Alienware's most powerful gaming laptops are on its M-series, with two size options, the m16 (16") and the M18 (18").

It joins the four companies that debuted 18-inch gaming laptops in the mix, and the Dell-owned company, with choices of the latest processors from Intel or AMD, and graphics between the GeForce RTX or the Radeon. 

It features a full-size keyboard with optional Cherry MX mechanical keys, dual user-replaceable DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, and up to 9TB of storage. There are two display options for the m18 featuring the 165Hz 2,560x1,600 or a 480Hz 1,920x1,200.  

Its high-end release will be available for $2,800, and entry-level releases to start at $2,099.

Razer Blade 18

Razer features the thinnest 18-inch gaming laptops in the mix, with the Blade 18 computer coming soon.

It will pack in the 13th-gen Intel Core i9 HX processor and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics. The Razer Blade 18 will bring a 1440p-plus 240Hz display.

The Singaporean gaming company will offer the Blade 18 for a starting price of $2,900.
