Samsung has just unveiled its newest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy F04, in India. This latest device joins the ranks of its low-cost Galaxy A0x series, and boasts a powerful octa-core chip from MediaTek, a large battery, and two major Android OS upgrades.
Samsung Galaxy F04 Specs Revealed
According to the story by Giz China, at the heart of the Galaxy F04 lies a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 269 ppi pixel density. Unfortunately, the device's processor can only handle a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The phone also has a waterdrop notch for the 5 MP selfie camera. Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, which has eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores split into two clusters and a max speed of 2.3 GHz.
The device also has 4 GB of RAM, plus an additional 4 GB of virtual RAM from Samsung's RAM Plus feature. It's also equipped with 64 GB of Internal Storage and a micro SD card slot for extra memory.
The Device's OS Includes the One UI 4.1 with the Android 12
The Galaxy F04, as further detained in GSM Arena, comes with One UI 4.1 with Android 12, and Samsung promises two major OS upgrades. The device draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging, and has a dual-camera setup with a primary 13 MP lens and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy F04 is now available exclusively on Flipkart for INR 9,499, or about $115.46 USD as of press time, with an introductory offer of INR 7,499, or about $91.15 USD as of press time. Actual sales will begin on January 12. It remains to be seen if this device will be released in other markets with a different name.
