Gaming accessory maker Nyxi has unveiled its newest Nintendo Switch controller, which will finally give some remedy for users annoyed over sudden Joy-Con drifts.

With Nyxi Wizard, you won't have a chance to develop this hardware issue, thanks to the magnets embedded inside the controller.

New Nyxi Wizard Switch Controller is Anti-JoyCon Drift

Based on an early report by Eurogamer, the new Gamecube-like controller for the Nintendo Switch appears to answer the long-time problem of handheld console users.

With Nyxi Wizard's split design, you can never go wrong with this one, especially if you are an avid collector of various Switch controllers.

Aside from its aesthetic look, the Wizard Switch controller boasts "Hall Effect Joysticks," which do not allow close contact of the components with one another.

Even the slightest collision of components inside a regular controller can gradually bring up the early signs of Joy-Con drift. It seems that Nyxi has thought of introducing a more ergonomic way to avoid this problem.

According to the thegamingsetup, Hall Effect joysticks have a special magnet that generates a voltage change that transforms into this so-called positional data.

From here, a user won't be able to experience the wear-and-tear of the controller because of the similar movement tracking from the inside.

Aside from that, the Nyxi Wizard controller features a smaller size for sticks' dead zones. Because they are more manageable now than before, the response rate of each of them is now higher.

How Much is the Nyxi Wizard Switch Controller

Before we dive into the price of this anti-drift controller, it's also important to talk about its back buttons, namely the ZR and the ZL button.

Nyxi says that these rear buttons now come with a "shorter trigger distance." They also have less resistance, so they are lighter and faster than a common Switch controller.

According to PCMag, users can also remove the joysticks and customize the functionality within the shell. You can easily adjust them to turbo or set them to a wake-up setting.

When it comes to connectivity, you can link it up to your console through the USB-C cable. It is expected that it will last up to 8.5 hours, so you can play many games before you charge it.

For just $69, you can buy this Wizard controller with a lot of interesting features outside its no-drift promise. Click here to see more information about this wireless joypad.
