"Pokemon Scarlet & Violet" is blessed to have another Pokemon players can try in and out of the game.

With the arrival of Charcadet, the Fire Child Pokemon, PVP gamers and raid takers can maximize its usage in different situations.

Getting this tiny monster is fairly easy, as you can obtain it early in the game. However, just like the other Pokemon, Charcadet evolves via a special method, and you need to harvest a particular item to evolve it into a more powerful monster.

If you want to know how to evolve Charcadet, here's what you need to know.

Find Charcadet in Paldea

Armarouge

First, Charcadet is a special Pokemon, meaning you can't evolve it like the starters by simply leveling up.
Special Pokemon can be involved in certain conditions, including link trade and held-item trade. Others can evolve when they hit a specific level under a weather condition.

In Charcadet's case, you must obtain an item dubbed Malicious or Auspicious Armor to reach its maximum potential. For Scarlet players, you can get the latter, while Violet players can farm the former.

To get a Malicious or Auspicious Armor, fly to Zapapico, particularly to a Pokemon Center located in the East part of the province.

Ceruledge

From here, walk west until you see an old man (NPC) who stands near a water fountain. Talk to him until he says, "Fancy a trade?" Depending on your version, he will ask you to fetch him either 10 Bronzor Fragments or Sinistea Chips.

To find these items, you need to search for Bronzor in Scarlet, while in Violet, you need to find Sinistea.

Once you're done getting 10 of these components, go back to the Zapapico man and interact with him once again. He will give you Malicious or Auspicious armor.

Which is Better Between Armarouge and Ceruledge?

Armarouge and Ceruledge are both newcomers to the world of Pokemon. This is the first time that The Pokemon Company brought two creatures similar to Megaman, thanks to the canon and laser buster.

Speaking of which, these two might share slight similarities when it comes to design, but their main attributes are unique from one another.

Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic Pokemon that excels in its high Special Attack gain. It's quite tanky and relies on its signature move, Armor Cannon.

Meanwhile, Ceruledge boasts its Fire/Ghost typing. While Armarouge focuses on Sp. Attack and bulk, this blue flame features Bitter Blade, its signature move. This is like a more powerful version of Giga Drain, but the only difference is that it's a fire type.

If your team lacks a good Special Attacker, go for Armarouge. If you need a heavy-hitting Physical Attacker, get a Ceruledge for your lineup.
