Users of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 can now check for updates and get the latest features from the One IU 5.1.

Samsung revealed recently that the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 would receive an upgrade that would enable the watches to control the zoom on a paired smartphone's camera remotely. The Galaxy Watch 5 in the US is now receiving the software update.

One UI 5.1 should soon be available for the original Galaxy Z Flip as well as all newer "flagship models," in addition to the S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra. Version R900XXU1AWA3 of the firmware is the most recent update. The changelog gives the Galaxy Watch 5 a new Camera Controller.

However, Sam Mobile reports that if you use the Galaxy Watch 5 with a Pixel or OnePlus smartphone, you will not be able to access this functionality because it only functions with Galaxy smartphones.
