The famous simulation game where people clean for their entertainment, "PowerWash Simulator," is getting a crossover with Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' "Tomb Raider" franchise. This new mini-story in the cleaning game will allow gamers to enter the Croft Manor and complete levels to arrange and give life to the woman cave of the famous explorer.

FuturLab, developers of the famous simulator cleaning game, announced a special crossover coming to the game, centering on a partnership with Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' "Tomb Raider." In this crossover, gamers will be able to venture to Croft Manor and clean everything from top to bottom.

The new crossover will arrive on all platforms where the game is available, including its Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 availability.

The company calls this the "Tomb Raider Special Pack," and all existing owners of the washing game would receive this DLC for free.

The special DLC will provide gamers with a short story and a mini-campaign with five levels to complete.

What to Expect on the 'Tomb Raider Special Pack'?

The mini-story centers on a commission work by Lara Croft for an upcoming fundraiser event, where gamers need to get the place ready and in top condition for the occasion. Gamers will also have a special close relationship with Lady Croft, particularly as certain restricted areas in the house will be available to explore.

According to FuturLabs, it will be accessible in "PowerWash Simulator's" menu, in the "Specials" section once this special offer drops on Tuesday, January 31 (9 AM EST / 12 PM PST / 5 PM GMT).

Additionally, there are upcoming Research Edition Rewards coming for gamers for accomplishing the commissioned work.

What does 'PowerWash Simulator' Offer?

In a game where people enjoy cleaning certain locations, more than actually doing it in their homes, "PowerWash Simulator" is an innovative one that exceeded expectations on its release. Back in July, it replaced "Halo Infinite" as the top game on the Xbox Game Pass service, and that shows how satisfying it is to clean up.

Towards the end of 2022, the Steam Awards in December last year saw a list of innovative games ask for votes from players to clinch the title in their respective categories. In the "Sit Back and Relax" category, "PowerWash Simulator" also saw recognition with its nomination, alongside titles "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga," "Disney Dreamlight Valley," "Dorf Romantik," and "Slime Rancher 2."

It only shows that simulation games are still significant and massive in society, especially with an experience that gives people the chance to be satisfied with a job well done. Gamers only need to lift a finger and avoid getting dirty, sweaty, or tired from all the power washing they do, especially in this crossover to clean the massive Croft Manor.
