The game's setting is a dystopian society in 2099, where proper grammar usage is strictly enforced. Anyone who uses poor grammar will accrue bad credit in this world, which could lead to people losing their jobs, being denied access to public services, or even going to jail.
A recent graduate in theoretical mathematics, the player's character works as a grammar checker for the largest grammar validation company. Although this might be demanding, the player must rise to this challenge.
To move up the ladder, players will need to put in a lot of effort using their grammar and management skills. Players can advance through the ranks at "Grammarian Ltd" from "Junior Passable Intern" to "Editor Extraordinaire."
The player character also receives better items with each promotion, enabling them to transform their run-down apartment into a lavish penthouse, purchase candy, or even take a helicopter to work. This gives players an additional incentive to polish their grammar and career progress.
