According to the story by Giz China, ZTE has launched one of the most interesting flagship models in the market, such as its ZTE Axon series and sister range Nubia. But according to a set of new leaks, an upcoming budget phone is up its sleeve - the ZTE Blade V40.

The market for low-end and mid-range smartphones is growing more and more competitive, resulting in better specs and features at those price points. To meet this demand, ZTE has now announced the new ZTE Blade V40, a budget-friendly phone that packs a punch for a very good price.

ZTE Blade V40 Specs Include the 12nm Unisoc T616 SoC

However, regarding the low-end and mid-range segments, ZTE's offerings remained modest. Recently, leaks suggest that ZTE is launching a new budget smartphone under the ZTE Blade V40 specs. 

The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.6-inch LCD screen and is powered by a 12nm Unisoc T616 SoC. Similarly, the device is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. 

The Device Will Come with Android 12 and MyOS 12 with No Confirmation on Whether an Android 13 Will be Updated

In terms of software, the ZTE Blade V40 is said to run Android 12 with the company's own MyOS 12 tweaker running on top. There's no word on whether the phone will receive an Android 13 update exactly, but ZTE has previously shown commitment to bringing major OS updates to its budget devices.

Although the exact details about the cameras are yet to be announced, it is expected to sport a 50 MP main camera and two additional depth and macro shooting sensors. The phone will draw its power from a 4,500 mAh battery and is estimated to cost BDT 17,999 in Bangladesh, as seen in GSM Arena, roughly translating to $170.

So far, there is still no word yet on charging speed, but users should keep charging speed expectations down for a budget device. The device claims to have a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display.

While no official confirmation has been made, the low price tag and features of the ZTE Blade V40 suggest that this phone is a great choice for budget smartphone users looking for an upgrade, as seen in a video by CrazReview on Twitter.
