The Razer Edge portable console is finally here, and the famous multi-national gaming company launched it on time after teasing it last year, and at the recent CES 2023. It features two versions of the Razer Edge portable gaming console, and it centers on both the WiFi-only version, as well as the WiFi+5G version that would be fulfilled by its partner.
It is a direct competitor of the Valve Steam Deck portable and handheld gaming console that was released almost a year ago in February 2022.
Razer Edge is Finally Here: What to Expect

Razer has officially dropped the Edge portable gaming console to the United States market, and this is currently limited to the country and is not sold anywhere else. It is unknown whether the Razer Edge will see availability in other regions at the present.
Still, the good news is this gaming console is available now, and it is fitted with the Razer Kishi V2 Pro universal mobile phone gaming controller.
Its specs include the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1, alongside a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 FHD+ resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The Razer Edge is an Android handheld gaming console that is compatible with Android and Xbox games, as well as Nvidia GeForce Now's streaming platform.

Where to Buy Razer Edge, Price?
There are two versions of the Razer Edge, and it is available in different retail and online stores.
The first one is the base Razer Edge that sells for $399.99, direct from the Razer stores, both online and in retail.
On the other hand, the Razer Edge 5G is available for purchase via its partner, Verizon, which also included the 5G Ultra Wideband technology.
Portable Gaming Consoles
The trends in gaming devices went from portable devices like the PlayStation Portable and the Nintendo DS during its time, then followed by the PS Vita. However, the hype on these died down, and people reverted to tabletop gaming platforms like consoles and PC desktops to bring their gaming needs.
However, it was yet again popularized in the mainstream gaming industry, with the introduction of consoles like the Nintendo Switch, one that features both a tabletop and portable gaming.
Valve also has a take on portable gaming consoles, and it is with the highly-rated Steam Deck console which is available for almost a year now, packed with all needs for one's entertainment.
Now, the latest portable gaming console on the market is the Razer Edge, and it features both a WiFi and WiFi+5G version that would help in connecting to cloud-based gaming platforms. The Razer Edge and Razer Edge 5G consoles are the first take of the Singaporean company on a gaming console, one that promises to deliver for gamers at any time and place.
