Gamers8, the biggest esports and gaming festival in the world, is set to return this summer with a world-record prize pool of more than $30 million (double last year's pool), a recent press release tells us.

This year's festival promises to be even bigger and better than last year's event, which saw 1.4 million visitors, 132 million people tuning in to watch the elite competitions, and 61 nationalities represented.

Gamers8 Will Arrive this Summer

The Gamers8 will begin on July 6 and continue for eight weeks. It will feature a wide variety of entertaining events, such as esports competitions, live music performances, festivals, shows, community gaming, educational platforms, and activities suitable for people of all ages.

The festival will serve as a venue where world-class esports champions and gaming enthusiasts can display their talents, engage in networking opportunities, and have a great time.

Last year's Gamers8 festival was held in Boulevard Riyadh City and had five top titles, including "Rocket League," "Dota 2 Riyadh Masters," "Fortnite," "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege," and "PUBG Mobile."

It's Bigger Than Last Year

The festival is going to be even more impressive this year, increasing the number of offerings it provides and featuring well-known games that are certain to stir up viewership.

HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation, said in a statement that the festival would be a destination for world-class esports champions and fans of the gaming universe.

This year's festival will also end with the Next World Forum, although Gamers8 will release full details in due course.
