OpenAI debuted a new tool for the world to use, and it aims to detect AI-generated text and content from the likes of submissions from schoolwork or the internet, to help those in need. This one rivals even its service and creation, the ChatGPT, having the capability to know if one particular work is from a machine.

There were many complaints in the past about how ChatGPT is used in creating work for students and professionals, to the point where they have to ban its use in institutions.

OpenAI released a new tool today, and it is called the "AI Text Classifier" that gives the world a chance to detect if there is any AI-generated content from things they find online, or submitted to them. The company released this on January 31, and it aims to distinguish work from human and AI content creation that may be applied to different fields.

According to the company's blog post, it trained this new tool from its systems and artificial intelligence which it developed for the world.

However, the company said that it is impossible to detect all AI-written text, but this tool may help stop the spread of false information, academic dishonesty, and posing as human using AI through chatbots.

It can also Detect Works from ChatGPT

One of the most notable features of the AI Text Classifier is that it can also work with content generated from ChatGPT, and the company did not make it an exception in its new tool. Moreover, this may help academies and teachers in catching students who use OpenAI's tools to create their projects or schoolwork for them, especially as it is considered a form of cheating.

OpenAI's ChatGPT

There was a global craze when OpenAI released its ChatGPT program to the world, as it delivers excellent text content creation from its artificial intelligence available to all. The company's development was one of the most notable in this era, as claimed by some reviews, especially as it helps deliver full content from several commands.

Its application extended to real estate brokers' use, with ChatGPT creating listings and descriptions for them in a property they are trying to sell.

However, there were concerns regarding its use in different settings, especially in school. Several schools have taken it upon themselves to ban the use of OpenAI's system from its students, but there is still a problem with detecting the work done through this system.

Professionals, professors, teachers, and other industry heads are now given the chance to detect any form of use of any AI-generated content in their works, through OpenAI. This is a massive initiative from the company, especially as it provides a counter to its famous tool, the ChatGPT, despite its significance now in society.
