Key Features

Huge print volume: The CR-M4 boasts an impressive build volume measuring 450x450x470mm, providing ample space for producing sizable models with minimal post-processing. It is common for users to express concerns about the quality of larger models, as many low-cost printers often struggle with stability and wobbling frames. However, the CR-M4 has overcome this challenge with its robust design.

The CR-M4 creates a rigid triangular structure featuring two Z-axis and support rods, ensuring a stable top frame. The dual Z-axis system, equipped with independent motors, allows for precise and accurate movements, preventing the sagging of both the gantry and the Z-axis.

Consequently, the printer delivers excellent printing performance, guaranteeing the production of visually pleasing and high-quality models from bottom to top.

Dual Y-Axis Linear Rails that are accurate and reliable: The CR-M4 is constructed with a sturdy triangular frame that, in combination with its dual Y-axis linear rails, guarantees exceptional model quality. The high-grade bearing steel used in the dual Y-axis linear rails' fabrication significantly enhances the Y-axis motion's precision, resulting in increased resistance to wear, backlash, and heavy loads.

Moreover, the rails are produced by computer numerical control (CNC) machining, which endows them with greater reliability and longevity compared to the V-slot rail system.

Further bolstering the CR-M4's Y-axis capabilities is using a potent, high-precision stepper motor in its transmission. The motor provides heightened accuracy and generates smooth motion, producing flawless print results. According to Creality Lab's tests, the stepper motor can operate steadily and continuously for an impressive 720 hours (30 days).

The CR-M4's Y-axis features constitute a solid foundation that contributes to its exceptional performance in 3D printing.

Multi-printer control: The CR-M4 offers an additional advantage to users by allowing them to connect the printer to a local area network using Creality Print. This feature allows users to set up a centrally-controlled print farm, allowing them to print multiple batches simultaneously. When connected to the internet, the Creality Cloud APP or Web facilitates printing and monitoring of the CR-M4 remotely.

When integrated as part of a print farm, a single command from Creality Print or Creality Cloud Web can simultaneously prompt all printers to produce the same model. Each CR-M4 printer can produce up to 20 parts at once. So, with a farm of 25 printers, thousands of parts can be generated every week.

The CR-M4 provides several connectivity options, including printing from a USB drive, a USB-C cable, an RJ-45 cable, or over WiFi. This versatility ensures that users can conveniently use the printer with the connectivity option that suits their specific needs.

High-temperature printing: Creality's all-metal "Sprite" direct extruder makes it possible for the CR-M4 to print at high temperatures. The "Sprite" has two gears with a gear ratio of 1:3.5. This gives it a strong and even 80 N extrusion force, which is suitable for flexible filaments like TPU.

With an upgraded nozzle and 50-watt heater cartridge, the high-flow HotEnd can melt high-temperature filaments at 300 °C. This means that high-temperature filaments like polycarbonate and nylon are no problem. Also, the Sprite and high-flow HotEnd make it easy to print with PLA, heat-resistant ABS, PLA-Wood, PLA-CF, and PETG filaments.

A separate 4020 fan is used as a part cooling fan. It directs cool air onto the newly printed section, which helps the model harden faster with less sagging or warping.

If you want to print faster or with thicker layers, you can swap out the standard 0.4mm nozzle for a 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzle with little trouble.

25-point auto-leveling: The CR-M4 boasts the CR Touch, an automatic leveling system that probes 25 points with a Z offset accuracy of 0.05 mm, ensuring users can repeatedly print high-quality first layers easily.

The build platform comprises four layers, including a PC coating that promotes adhesion, a spring steel sheet that facilitates easy removal of large models, a magnetic base with two pins for convenient snapping in and out, and a 470x470mm aluminum alloy heatbed that heats up to 60°C in just 160 seconds according to Creality Lab's tests.

Safe, reliable, and effective: The CR-M4 is equipped with an 800W industrial control power supply that ensures safe and consistent printing performance. With its universal voltage compatibility ranging from 100V to 240V, the power supply is highly efficient and suitable for use worldwide.

It incorporates advanced filtering mechanisms that effectively suppress voltage fluctuations and electromagnetic interference, safeguarding the printer against potential risks of short circuits, overloads, voltage spikes, or overheating.

Features for ease of use: The CR-M4 is equipped with a user-friendly 4.3-inch color touchscreen that provides a quick and efficient preview of the model and the temperature PID adjustment. The screen automatically switches to sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity, promoting energy savings.

In addition, the printer's silent mainboard ensures a noise level of only 50 decibels, which is comparable to the sound of indoor conversation. The printer is fitted with a cable chain that connects the filaments, and two spool holders are provided for convenient storage to prevent tangled wires.

Creality's new CR-M4 FDM 3D printer is a game-changer in the world of 3D printing, providing a stable and efficient solution for large-scale production. With its rigid frame, dual Z-axis, high-precision stepper motor, and LAN connectivity, the CR-M4 can easily produce high-quality models.

The 800W industrial control power supply, 4.3-inch color touch screen, silent mainboard, and cable chain for filaments add to the printer's overall efficiency and ease of use. The CR-M4 is a giant step forward in 3D printing technology and will undoubtedly accelerate efficiency and large-scale production for many users.
