"Since this year's E3 show didn't fit into our plans, we have made the decision to not participate," confirmed Nintendo.

Although it will miss the upcoming E3 2023, the video game maker will continue supporting the ESA (European Speedrunner Assembly) and E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo).

Gaming companies pulling out of E3 events is no longer new. Most of the time, video game makers prefer prioritizing their own events.

This was seen in recent E3 event before the global COVID-19 began; EA (Electronic Arts) and Activision also didn't attend the conference.

Despite their absences, previous E3s still provided enjoyable games and other game-related technologies.

E3 2023 Details

E3 went on a three-year hiatus because of the global coronavirus pandemic. This is why the gaming conference this 2023 is a big deal for many gamers.

However, there will be some changes in the upcoming event because ESA will no longer be its organizer.

Instead, GameSpot reported that ReedPop will take over the E3 2023.

"We're going to build a world-class event to serve the global gaming industry in new and broader ways," said the game event organizer.

The E3 2023 will start on June 13 and end on June 16. If you are among the gaming event's fans, you can visit this link to learn more about it.
