Throughout the years, Apple has continuously given improvements to the battery life of Macbooks. However, the same treatment cannot be said with the Apple Watch which requires a step up in its longevity.

According to a senior executive from the Cupertino giant, the company is currently looking for solutions to address this issue with the smartwatch.

A senior executive from Apple knows that there's a need to upgrade Apple Watch's battery life so users could maximize its benefit for longer hours.

Apple Watch is highly usable daily with its health and fitness features on the go. You can actually use this smartwatch without worrying about its battery after a week. What's more, night charging would be the least of your worries with this device.

However, while the tech titan frequently launches updates for Apple Watch, its battery remains mediocre when compared to other models in the market such as Garmin smartwatches.

According to 9to5Mac, these units can last for a couple of weeks or more when you don't open its GPS feature.

This made some people wonder why Apple could not do the same thing with Apple Watch. If it could always produce power-efficient batteries for MacBooks, then why couldn't it implement the same improvement with its smartwatches?

Bob Borchers, the company's VP of worldwide product marketing says that it's a matter of balance between the battery life and the features of the product.

"There are products in the company's lineup that continue to require further efficiency gains. One of them is the Apple Watch, which is an excellent health tracker but which will also benefit greatly from more battery life [...]" Borchers told India Today.

With the way things are headed to technological advancement, the executive adds that many still benefit from fast charging.

Borchers notes that when you charge your device in just 45 minutes after reaching 80% of the battery capacity, it all boils down to the trend that people love to see for every product.

In the meantime, you can check Engadget's report about the record-low price of the Apple Watch Series 8 at $329.

Is hhere a new MacPro coming in 2023?

According to tech journalist Mark Gurman, it's still not clear up to this date if Apple will release a new Apple Silicon Mac Pro this year.

Despite numerous queries about this desktop, several reports stirred up the controversy behind the un-upgradeable memory and GPU of the Mac Pro.

Just last January 2023, Tech Times reported that the upcoming Apple Mac Pro won't be using the M2 Extreme chip. This only means that the company will still prefer using M2 Ultra over the new chipset.

If the most powerful Apple chipset will be non-negotiable for Mac Pro, then launching it will make no sense since it will only offer limited expansion features to the customers.

Borchers did not drop any hint if the iPhone maker will release it anytime, but he only mentioned that the company aims to fully transition to Apple Silicone.
