New Feature to help Access Google Nest Router Better?

The new features include Safe Filtering for the Guest and Private Network that would help configure the internet access on a home's Nest router. They could block or restrict certain sites or content on the internet for better control of what is available on their network.

Moreover, it allows users the chance to choose between the software channel with the "Update AP Software Channel" option.

There is also the VLAN or Virtual Local Access Network here, as well as giving Google feedback via the Diagnostics Report field.

Google's Upgrades to its Smart Home Features

Google Home is one of the top-regarded apps available for all, centering on its offers to better help control the smart devices in one's house under one platform or infrastructure. One of the previous experiences of Google Home is its voice assistant which would allow users to control different devices through voice commands via the Nest Speaker.

Additionally, its past update allows users to only ring the app when it senses that you or the owner is at home, and would not deliver notifications when one is away. This will help make the notifications more private for the owner, especially if there are other people at home, like one's relatives, children, other family members, or caretakers.

The company also upgraded its features recently for the Matter smart home integration that enables many to access different technologies for the house under one system.

Since then, Google Home provided a platform for the smart home to interconnect devices under one platform, now extending its reach to better features on the internet. The recent WiFi Labs beta on the Google Home app centers on the many features of the Nest Router, to bring features like Safe Filtering, VLAN, and more under its beta.
