Unity Software Inc., the company behind the popular video game development engine Unity, plans to launch an AI marketplace for generative artificial intelligence software.
This new platform will enable game creators to generate content instantly with AI products without devoting substantial time and resources to assets such as characters and sound effects.
Unity's CEO, John Riccitiello, confirmed the development to Reuters, adding that the company is not committing to a precise launch date as of now.

Unity to Harness AI
The gaming engine with 5 billion app downloads has used AI in its operations before. Users can already design AI environments that are physically, visually, and cognitively rich by using Unity with the ML-Agents toolkit. Unity's future AI offerings, according to Riccitiello, would be available to developers through an early access program that was launched on Wednesday, March 22.
